A death investigation is underway into the death of a 28-year-old Montgomery woman.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, first responders were dispatched to a report of a someone shot in the 200 block of Eastdale Road.
Montgomery police Maj. Saba Coleman said Kinah Stokes was found with a gunshot wound and taken to the hospital. She was later pronounced dead.
No additional details have been released.
