What's life been like for Noah Galloway after "Dancing With the Stars"? One word: busy. Galloway, an Alabama Army veteran and double amputee, earned fame in 2015 on the ABC reality series. Things have been going nonstop ever since for Galloway, 34, a Shelby County resident and devoted father of three. He's been juggling speaking engagements, a book project, another reality series, a new house, sponsorship deals and more. "Got my first Uber by myself," Galloway said. "Pretty excited about it. Told the driver that and he said with disgust, 'congratulations.' Haha. I like him. He's my first. I'll never forget him. Might even try and hug him when we get to my destination. Not sure how he'll react."

He's been working on a book.
"Last few days between kids, workouts, life and lunch, I've had my friend Rebecca in town to finish up my upcoming book," Galloway said. "I chose her to help me because she knows me so well and is an incredible writer. I can't wait to get this book done...and we are under a deadline that is quickly approaching. Stay tuned for more on this crazy adventure that will share parts of my life that most aren't aware of and hopefully inspires others in the process."

The Birmingham Veterans Day parade? A highlight.
"Was an incredible experience as this year's Grand Marshal for the Birmingham Veterans Day Parade," Galloway said. "Couldn't get over all the people cheering my name. Very humbling. Only thing that stole the show from me was having the very lovely @missamericaal trailing me. Who couldn't be happy to see her at the parade? Losing to her was ok by me. ;)"

"I've found sometimes when you break something down just to rebuild it from the ground up it returns better than before," Galloway said. "Of course I'm speaking from my own personal experiences. But today I'm also referring to my new 2016 Softtail Slim that @harleydavidson wanted to give me. Now it's at @heartofdixiehd being rebuilt to not only work with my one arm and leg, but to fit the image I have for an awesome bike. "My two boys got up early and said, 'Can we go fishing?' I remembered it was literally in our backyard and said, 'Go right ahead!' So them and two boys in the neighborhood did that. I love living here. #lifeisgood #hfot," Galloway said.
