Ahead of EA Sports releasing its College Football 25 video game on July 19, the developer has been slowly leaking out information to drum up interest in its first college football game since NCAA 14. On Wednesday, the company released ratings for the top 100 players in the game, and Alabama was well-represented.
The Crimson Tide had six players make the list. UA’s two top players in the game were both rated at 92, with defensive back Malachi Moore and center Parker Brailsford both earning that designation.
Brailsford was the top-rated member of the offensive line group to make the top 100, but he wasn’t alone. Guards Tyler Booker and Jaeden Roberts each received a 91 rating.
Linebacker Deontae Lawson received a 90 from EA. He was joined there by Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe.
Michigan cornerback Will Johnson was the highest-ranked player in the game according to EA’s list. He was given a 96, along with LSU tackle Will Campbell and Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon III.
Ratings will be dynamic throughout the season, and are thus subject to change at any time. Alabama opens the 2024 campaign, its first with Kalen DeBoer as its head coach, on Aug. 31 against Western Kentucky in Tuscaloosa.
College Football 25 will be released on July 19. It will be available for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
