I've worked as a Mobile-based reporter for the Press-Register and AL.com for more than 25 years. During that time I've written extensively about arts, entertainment, food and culture. I've also covered metro government, courts, business and conservation issues, particularly preservation and restoration of the Perdido River watershed and projects funded through the RESTORE Act. I'm a graduate of the University of Alabama, where I served as 1992-93 editor of The Crimson White.
