The NFL’s slate of international games for the 2024 season is scheduled to begin and end with a former Alabama quarterback under center.

In the second game of the season, Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles will square off against the Green Bay Packers at 7:15 p.m. CDT Sept. 6 at Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The first NFL game played in Brazil will be televised by Peacock.

In the last of the NFL’s five international games in 2024, Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers will play the New York Giants at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 10 at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. NFL Network will televise the game.

Another former Alabama quarterback who was an NFL starter last season also could be involved in international play – and against his former team, too – but Mac Jones is slated for backup duty with the Jacksonville Jaguars this season.

Jones served as the New England Patriots’ starting quarterback in the first 43 games of his NFL career before being benched for the final six contests of the 2023 season. In March, New England traded Jones to the Jaguars, who have Trevor Lawrence entrenched as their starting quarterback.

Jacksonville will meet the Chicago Bears at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 13 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, then play the Patriots at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 20 at Wembley Stadium in London. NFL Network will televise both games.

In the NFL’s other international game in 2024, the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets will face off at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 6 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. NFL Network will televise the game.

The NFL released its international schedule on Wednesday morning. The entire 2024 regular-season schedule will be announced at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
