More than a third of adults living in cities in the Birmingham metro have a college degree.
That’s based on an analysis of the most recent U.S. Census Bureau data for cities with at least 10,000 residents.
Roughly 34%, or 87,000 adults older than 25, have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, according to the Census estimates from 2022.
