More heat advisories will be in effect for most of Alabama on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service said heat and humidity could combine to make it feel as hot as 108 degrees in parts of the state this afternoon.
Air temperatures are expected to peak in the mid-90s for most of the state today. Here are the forecast highs for Tuesday:

WEDNESDAY ONWARD
Another hot day is expected on Wednesday, with high temperatures again expected to climb well into the 90s. More heat advisories will be likely for much of the state, according to the weather service.
However a break, of sorts, will be possible starting on Thursday as a front works its way southward in the state.
The front will bring increased chances for rain and storms, according to the weather service.
It is expected to lose steam and stall out somewhere over central or south Alabama, leading to increased rain chances lingering through the rest of the week.
And slightly lower temperatures.
Highs on Thursday are expected to stay in the 80s in north Alabama, and some of those slightly lower numbers could make it southward on Friday and into the weekend.
Here is the forecast for Thursday:
By Friday most of the state will only see highs “only” in the 80s:
Similar temperatures are expected to stick around through the weekend, according to weather service forecasts.
Those slightly cooler temperatures could hang around into next week. The updated six- to 10-day temperature outlook from NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center continues to show a slightly higher probability of below-average (for July) temperatures for part of Alabama through next week:
