Mobile moves toward distributing more than $2 million in opioid settlement funds

The city of Mobile took one more step toward distributing more than $2 million in settlement funds from lawsuits related to the opioid crisis.

On Tuesday, the Mobile City Council approved a $154,000 contract with The Helios Alliance, a nonprofit collaborative of organizations that works to model opioid abatement planning.
