Mobile’s Architectural Review Board on Wednesday will hear from city leaders—including Mayor Sandy Stimpson—about a plan to demolish the Mobile Civic Center and build a new arena in its place.
“This thing has sat there for decades with everybody trying to figure it out,” Mobile’s Chief of Staff James Barber said in March. “You finally see movement going forward.”
