President Joe Biden’s exit from the 2024 presidential race – and endorsement of Kamala Harris – opens the door for the vice president to receive the Democratic nomination. If so, that will set up a November matchup between Harris and Republican nominee Donald Trump.
All polls comparing Harris and Trump were conducted prior to Biden’s exit though they shed light on how the VP could do if she is her party’s nominee.
The latest poll comparing Harris and Trump shows the Republican nominee enjoys a 3 percentage point lead – 51% to 48%.
