Former 'Aubie' on team that earns trip to Las Vegas after performing on 'America's Got Talent' (video)

A former Auburn University "Aubie" whose talents helped earn the mascot his fifth national championship in 2003 is a member of a team that got an early round nod in the competition on America's Got Talent.

The War Eagle Reader reports Taylor Griswold has gone on to perform as Hooper, the mascot of the Detroit Pistons, and direct the Pistons' acrobatic slam dunk team The Flight Crew.

Griswold and the team, which changed its name's spelling to Flyte Cru apparently due to copyright issues, performed for the TV judges last night and earned a trip to Las Vegas.

Check out the video below. Griswold makes the team's pitch in the interview.
