The wife of Billy Ray Cyrus is accusing the country music singer of “extreme verbal, emotional and psychological abuse.”

The claims, reported by PEOPLE, comes days after news broke that Cyrus filed a motion in a Tennessee court seeking an emergency temporary restraining order against his wife, Firerose.

In addition, she claims Cyrus has a “substance abuse issues” and that causes him to be “unpredictable and volatile.”

Earlier this month, it was reported that Cyrus claimed Firerose ran up $96,986 in “unauthorized charges on his business account.” Cyrus said $70,665 went to her lawyers. Cyrus claimed that the charges made him concerned that she may make other “fraudulent, unauthorized charges to my business and personal credit cards and accounts.”

According to the report, Firerose claims Cyrus filed for divorce last month a day before she was set to have a preventative double mastectomy.

“When Wife would attempt to voice certain concerns, Husband would often call her a ‘selfish (expletive)’ and continually alleged that she was using him,” the filing said per People. “With Wife’s major surgery date looming, she was reasonably afraid to leave or seek any type of help because she feared hat Husband would interfere with her surgery or her lengthy recovery at home.”
