A wildfire in Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge in Fort Morgan is still smoldering after two days of firefighting, but crews remain on the ground monitoring the situation until the fire is contained.

Residents will likely continue to see and smell smoke over the weekend and into next week, Jeremy Edwardson, agency administrator with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, says.
